Haha...Sarah does Malachi know that you put this picture of him on the internet? It's pretty funny.
And that seems like a pretty funny place to leave a bicycle for the winter...
Mine is a baby squirrel!! We rescued it from Magoo, and turned it over to the local wildlife rehabilitator. She said he was going to be just fine. He slept and slept in the warm box for the few hours that we had him.
Awesome! I love it that you rescued a baby squirrel - it's adorable! And Mom, your picture is just beautiful. The more I see your pictures, the more I see how amazing it is to live there.
Malachi threw his back out while stretching in the shower on Saturday. He hasn't been able to stand up since then. He drags himself on his belly to the bathroom and can barely kneel to pee. He was trying to slide back to his temporary bed and this pic was of him in so much pain he couldn't move anymore. He actually cried a few times from the pain.
Geez, that's not funny at all. I thought he was just so tired that he was napping on the floor. So, does he just have to wait for it to get better? Has he tried a chiropractor?
He might be at the point that a chiropractor or massage therapist would help. Before now he was in so much pain I'm sure no one would touch him. But he still can't stand, let alone get out of the house to go for help. He just has to wait it out somewhat. Jan gave us some oxycontin and muscle relaxers so he's just waitin for it to relax.
This happened a few years ago and Malachi was on my bedroom floor for 14 days straight. We had never spent more than a day together at that time.
That's just horrible about Malachi! I feel so bad for him.
I saw the bike on my way home from the conference. It was about 12 miles or so south of Augusta. It was so odd that I had to stop and take a picture. My first thought was that it was a kid's and they rode it out the ranch driveway to catch the bus and then the storm came in on Friday. But, when I uploaded the pic that night, I realized, that was not a driveway. In fact, once I thought of it, there wasn't a driveway or road for miles around. So, I thought it must have fallen off or out of someone's vehicle. So, I drove back there the next morning and it was gone. In fact, what was so weird, is I couldn't find where it was at all. No snow had been disturbed anywhere beside the road. It was like a phantom bike......
